1. Purpose & Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the conditions under which you may access and utilize Mafirex Cloud Hosting services, networks, and infrastructure ("Services"). By hosting your applications, websites, or databases on Mafirex, you agree to adhere strictly to all provisions in this policy.
This policy is designed to safeguard server performance, protect user privacy, prevent security exploits, and ensure compliance with global internet regulations.
2. Prohibited Content
Mafirex services must never be used to host, store, link to, or distribute materials that violate international laws or infringe upon third-party rights. The following content types are strictly forbidden:
Immediate Action Trigger: Accounts found hosting malware, illegal exploitation material, or active phishing portals will be terminated without refund or advance warning.
- Copyright & IP Infringement: Pirated software, unlicensed digital downloads, bootleg audio/video streams, or torrent file indices.
- Phishing & Fraudulent Sites: Fake banking login pages, deceptive brand impersonation portals, or credential-harvesting tools.
- Malware & Exploit Hosting: Distribution of viruses, trojans, keyloggers, ransomware, or zero-day exploit payloads.
- Unlawful & Defamatory Material: Content promoting hate speech, cyber-harassment, or illegal offline activities.
3. Network & System Abuse
Any action aimed at disrupting, testing, or exploiting Mafirex server nodes or external networks connected through our infrastructure is grounds for immediate termination:
- Launching or facilitating Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, UDP floods, or SYN flood traffic.
- Unauthorized port scanning, vulnerability probing, or penetration testing against outside networks without prior written authorization.
- Operating open proxies, TOR exit nodes, IP spoofing mechanisms, or unauthorized VPN relays.
- Running background cryptocurrency mining algorithms or distributed computational tasks that lock CPU/RAM resources.
4. Cloud Resource Misuse
Mafirex high-speed NVMe hosting plans (Starter, Basic, Pro) are designed to power live, optimized web applications and websites. They are not intended for unapproved data dumping or storage mirroring:
Storage Fair Use: Accounts may not use hosting SSD allocations as secondary off-site backup storage, public file repositories, or video download mirrors.
- Executing continuous database queries or automated scripts that impair shared node stability for adjacent tenants.
- Storing excess system log files, massive SQL dump files, or uncompressed media archives that exceed assigned plan tier quotas.
5. Email & Anti-Spam Regulations
Mafirex maintains a strict zero-tolerance posture regarding unsolicited commercial email (SPAM) to ensure optimal email deliverability rates for all users:
- Sending unsolicited bulk email, cold marketing blasts, or harvested email lists is strictly prohibited. All mail lists must use confirmed double opt-in validation.
- Operating open email relays or forging email header details to disguise original sender identities is forbidden.
- Accounts causing Mafirex IP addresses to become blacklisted (e.g., on Spamhaus, Barracuda, or SpamCop) will face instant mail port suspension until resolved.
6. Security Maintenance & Application Patching
Clients are responsible for keeping hosted content and Content Management Systems (WordPress, Joomla, custom PHP scripts) updated to prevent unauthorized compromise:
- Users must ensure third-party plugins, themes, and scripts are regularly updated with vendor security patches.
- If an account becomes compromised due to outdated software, Mafirex reserves the right to isolate or sandbox the affected site until the vulnerability is addressed by the owner.
7. Violation Enforcement & Account Suspension
Mafirex continuously monitors system health and abuse alerts. In the event of an AUP violation, we reserve the right to take appropriate remediation steps:
- Warning & Isolation: For minor technical oversights, clients will receive a notification email to remediate the issue within 24 hours.
- Immediate Suspension: For severe violations (DDoS, phishing, malware distribution), hosting access will be revoked immediately without notice.
- No Refunds: Accounts suspended or terminated due to explicit AUP breaches forfeit any entitlement to refunds under our 30-day policy.
8. Reporting AUP Violations
If you suspect a website hosted on the Mafirex cloud infrastructure is violating this Acceptable Use Policy, conducting phishing, or distributing malicious files, please report it directly to our Abuse Monitoring Department:
